“You are the Light of the World”

God our Father, we come before you

to plan & prepare the

Worldwide Marriage Encounter Convention of 2010.

Jesus, Son of God, you said where two or three

are gathered in my name, there I am in their midst.

Deepen in us your wisdom, compassion and courage.

Be our model and counselor.

Spirit of God,

enable us to rise above obstacles,

to hope beyond barriers,

enrich us with your capacity to love

that we will renew the Church in our time

and reach out to change our world.

Mary, Mother of the Church, pray for us.
